Children’s Studio

Learn how to look at modern art the practical way. Children young and old can get to grips with art in the workshop. There are all kinds of drawing materials, which can also be carried in a small case so that the children can draw in the exhibition rooms. The workshop is free of charge except for admission to the museum.
There is no age restriction, and there is no need to book beforehand.
Every Sunday from 11:00 am to 2:00 p.m. (subject to change).

Birthday workshop

Celebrate your birthday at the Cobra Museum of Modern Art. A workshop teacher (all visual artists) takes you and your friends on a short tour through the collection of the museum. After the tour you may create your very own works of art. From 28 January to 22 April the workshops are related to the current exhibition Klee and Cobra.

Mmm, Cake!

Prior to -or after- the birthday workshop there is an opportunity to have some lemonade, cake or pancakes in our Museum Café. Ask for our special ‘Cobra Birthday Party Workshop’ cake. You have to make a reservation in the Cobra Museum Café, tel 020 5475059. Ask about the various possibilities.

Please note: During Klee and Cobra there will be no guided tours for children. Children will receive the Klee and Cobra workbook at no charge, which they can use during their visit (in a special area on the ground floor).
